Dr. Dejan Šimičević graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of Zagreb and completed his general surgery specialization at the Clinical Hospital Center ‘Rebro.’ He then completed his subspecialization in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at the Clinical Hospital ‘Dubrava’ and the Clinical Hospital Center ‘Sestre Milosrdnice.’ He gained extensive surgical experience in both general and plastic surgery through ten years of work at the plastic surgery department at the Varaždin General Hospital.
In recent years, Dr. Šimičević has further educated himself in the field of aesthetic surgery and aesthetic medicine. He continues his professional and scientific development by participating in numerous courses and congresses both in Croatia and abroad, with a focus on modern methods in aesthetic medicine. Dr. Šimičević joins Poliklinika Sinteza from the renowned Bagatin Polyclinic and is also building and developing his professional expertise as a specialist in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at The Avoca Clinic in Ireland.
At Poliklinika Sinteza, Dr. Šimičević will primarily perform aesthetic procedures such as:
Ear corrective surgery (otoplasty)
Eyelid correction (blepharoplasty)
Breast augmentation
Abdominoplasty and other facial and body aesthetic procedures.
He is a member of the Croatian Society for Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery and is licensed by the Croatian Medical Chamber.
