Natko Beck dr. med.

He graduated from the Medical Faculty of the University of Zagreb in 2007, and during his studies, he was awarded the Dean’s Award for scientific work. He started his career as a scientific novice in the Radiology Department at the Srebrnjak Hospital, and in 2008 he became a radiology specialist trainee at the St. DuhUniversity Hospital, where he later remained as a specialist until 2016. After that, he moved to the Thalassotherapia Opatija Special Hospital, and since 2019, he has been the head of the Diagnostic Radiology Department at the Srebrnjak Hospital. From 2011 to 2018, he was the director of the neuro-scientific start-up Core Interface, within which several prototypes and products for neurorehabilitation after a stroke and neurofeedback applications for athletes were developed. As part of this project, he was awarded several international awards. Dr. Beck has collaborated and continues to collaborate with numerous healthcare institutions and polyclinics, and he has recently become a member of the team at the Sinteza Polyclinic.

Dr. Beck’s professional areas of interest include: radiology, pediatric radiology, musculoskeletal radiology (MSK), teleradiology, new technologies, and artificial intelligence. He is a member of the Croatian Society of Radiologists, the European Society of Radiologists, and the Croatian Society for Radiation Protection. He is also the host of the well-known show „Dr. Beck“, which airs on the first program of Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT). Since 2018, he has been active on social media with a public health mission to promote health literacy, for which he was awarded the “Communicator of the Year 2020” award by the Croatian Public Relations Association. We like to say that he is our most famous doctor on Instagram, as he has a substantial following of around 28,200 followers. Since 2021, he has been a co-organizer of the “Back Together” medical communication summit, where current health topics are discussed through a series of panels. Since 2022, he has been a co-founder of the “Zora Foundation,” with the aim of introducing cellular immunotherapy to Croatia. In his free time, he joyfully volunteers with a portable ultrasound. Dr. Beck is fluent in English and German, and he enjoys spending his free time with his family.
