Mateja Tošić Jukić dr. med.

Dr. Tošić Jukić is a specialist in dermatology and venerology, having graduated from the Medical Faculty of the University of Zagreb. Even during her studies, she showed a strong interest in dermatology and aesthetics, writing her thesis on “Contemporary Insights into the Etiopathogenesis and Treatment of Rosacea.” Growing up with a mother who was a dermatologist and opened her own dermatology clinic in 1997, which became one of the most renowned in the region from Split to Dubrovnik, Dr. Tošić Jukić was continuously exposed to dermatological trends and became familiar with her future profession. After completing her mandatory internship, she worked at the Croatian Institute for Transfusion Medicine as the head of the mobile team for voluntary blood donation.

She completed her specialization in dermatovenereology at the Clinic for Dermatovenereology, KBC Sestre milosrdnice, during which she also completed a postgraduate professional study in dermatovenereology. During her specialization, Dr. Tošić Jukić focused particularly on the early detection of skin tumors, completing both basic and advanced dermatoscopy courses, as well as attending the EADV summer school on dermatoscopy. She also participated in skin cancer prevention programs as part of the public health initiative Euromelanoma Day.

Alongside her work at KBC Sestre milosrdnice, Dr. Tošić Jukić has been working at her private dermatology clinic, Derma Tošić in Makarska, since 2015, further specializing in aesthetic dermatology. She regularly attends courses and workshops on non-invasive skin rejuvenation techniques and participates in Croatian and international dermatology congresses.
