Petra Kejla dr. med.

A specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, she graduated from the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb. Following her mandatory internship, she worked in the out-of-hospital emergency service at HMP Petrinja and served as the physician for the women’s national soccer team.

She completed her specialization in gynecology and obstetrics at Merkur Clinical Hospital and KBC Zagreb. During her specialization, she pursued postgraduate studies in “Ultrasound in Gynecology and Obstetrics” at KB Sveti Duh. She was also a scholarship recipient at Weill Cornell Medicine Centre in New York and The Medical University of Vienna, where she attended the Salzburg Weill Cornell Seminars on “Gynecology” and “Gynecological Oncology.”

She has completed several international courses in minimally invasive gynecological surgery, including the “IRCAD Advanced Techniques in Operative Gynecological Endoscopy” in Strasbourg and the “Maribor Workshop of Advanced Laparoscopic Procedures in Gynecology.” Additionally, she has undergone further training at various international clinics.

She is currently working on her doctoral dissertation as part of the postgraduate doctoral program in Biomedicine and Health at the School of Medicine.
Her primary areas of interest include ultrasound diagnostics and minimally invasive surgical procedures.

She is deeply dedicated to her patients, striving to create an atmosphere of trust and safety. She actively contributes to improving her patients’ quality of life and continuously works on professional development to refine her individualized approach to women’s health, staying aligned with the latest trends in gynecology.
