Jasmin Nikšić dr. med.

He graduated from the University of Rijeka’s Medical Faculty in 2011. years old. During his studies, he volunteered at the surgery clinic of KBC Rijeka and the Orthopedic Department of KBC Sv. Duh in Zagreb. He completed his specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at KBC “Sestre milosrdnice” from 2015 to 2020. years old. He is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb.

At the beginning of his career, he worked at the Emergency Medical Service of Zadar and Lika-Senj Counties. In 2015, he worked at the ‘Portiuncula Hospital’ in Ireland as an SHO in emergency medicine. Since 2015, to 2020. he worked at the Special Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation in Varaždinske Toplice. In January 2022, he completed a professional course in Ultrasound of the Locomotor System at the Department of Traumatology in Zagreb. He continued his career at the Polyclinic Sveti Rok, where he worked until transitioning to the Polyclinic Sinteza.

• “Application of laser in the treatment of chronic temporomandibular joint pain after wisdom tooth extraction,” published in ACTA Stomatologica Croatica
• Co-author of the paper “Deviation from normal gait kinematics in childhood”

Of personal interest, he likes to highlight completing 5 full Ironman triathlons (226 km) and around 20 marathon races (42.2 km). In his free time, he enjoys reading a good book, particularly emphasizing classical literature, poetry, and philosophy.
