Jasenka Broz Frajtag prof. log., univ. mag. sanit. publ.

Born on June 28, 1980, in Zagreb, where she completed her primary and secondary education. She graduated from the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Zagreb in 2004. years old. From 2005 to 2006, she completed her internship at the Clinic for Ear, Nose, and Throat Diseases and Head and Neck Surgery at the Audiology Center, KBC Šalata. Since 2006, she has worked as a speech therapist at the Clinic for Ear, Nose, and Throat Diseases and Head and Neck Surgery at KBC Šalata, and since the clinic’s relocation in 2011, she has been working at KBC Zagreb. She earned her master’s degree from the Andrija Štampar School of Public Health at the Medical Faculty in Zagreb.

She has been a lecturer at numerous global otorhinolaryngology congresses in the U.S. (Florida, Las Vegas) and international congresses in Europe (Amsterdam, Harrogate, Budapest, Lisbon, Maribor). She was an invited speaker at the World Congress of Otorhinolaryngology in Dubai. She has also actively participated in many domestic professional gatherings and continuing medical education courses. During her scientific career, she has collaborated with leading experts from the Clinic for Psychological Medicine, including Prof. Braš and Prof. Đorđević. Additionally, she works with professors from the Andrija Štampar School of Public Health.

In 2015, she co-organized a continuing medical education course at KBC Zagreb. Since 2015, she has been a member of the Association for the Prevention of Neurodevelopmental Auditory Disorders in Children – Communication. In 2017, she co-organized the Symposium on the Psychoacoustic Approach to Disorders of Cognition and Communication in Zagreb. In collaboration with the Croatian Society for Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, she organized a continuing medical education course in Zagreb in 2018.

 

As an author and co-author, she has published several professional and scientific papers in domestic and international journals. She is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of Italian.
