Ana Palatinuš dr. med.

Dr. Ana Palatinuš graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of Zagreb in 2008, marking the beginning of her professional journey as a physician specializing in general and vascular surgery.

She started her medical career with an internship at the Health Center of Zagreb County, after which she worked for a year in a family medicine practice and emergency medical services. Her focus on surgical specialties began in 2011 when she started her general surgery residency at the Dr. Ivo Pedišić General Hospital in Sisak, later continuing at Dubrava Clinical Hospital and the Magdalena Special Hospital for Cardiovascular Surgery. She successfully completed her residency in 2015, after which she pursued further professional development.

By 2019, she had completed her subspecialization in vascular surgery at the Magdalena Special Hospital, where she gained top-level knowledge and skills in the field. Since 2018, to 2024, she served as the head of the vascular surgery department at the Dr. Ivo Pedišić General Hospital in Sisak, playing a key role in the department’s development and the improvement of patient care.

Since May 2024, she has been working at Merkur Clinical Hospital in Zagreb as a specialist in general and vascular surgery, dedicated to treating vascular diseases and chronic wounds.

Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous national and international training programs, actively keeping up with the latest trends and methods in vascular disease treatment. A notable achievement is the postgraduate course “Doppler Ultrasound Diagnostics of Vascular Diseases,” which she completed in 2018 at Dubrava Clinical Hospital.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ana Palatinuš is fluent in English, enabling her to easily follow medical literature and participate in international conferences.
