
Fran Šaler dr. med.
Specialist in Cardiology
Graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of Zagreb in 2016. years old. He completed his internship at the Sisters of Charity University Hospital Center, after which he worked for two years at the Institute for Emergency Medicine of the Sisak-Moslavina County, gaining invaluable experience in recognizing and managing emergency conditions. In 2019, he joined Dubrava Clinical Hospital, and in 2024, he passed his cardiology specialization exam, earning the title of cardiology specialist.
Alongside his clinical work, in 2022, he enrolled in a doctoral program in biomedicine, focusing his research interests on heart failure and scientific methodology. He has participated in numerous national and international congresses and is a co-author of several congress presentations and scientific papers indexed in Medline. As part of his professional development, he trained at one of Europe’s leading cardiology centers in Copenhagen, further refining his knowledge and skills with a special focus on chronic heart failure. He actively participates in professional associations and is a member of the Croatian Cardiac Society (HKD), the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), and the Heart Failure Association (HFA).
His primary areas of interest include echocardiography, interventional cardiology, and the treatment of patients with heart failure. He continuously educates himself on new therapeutic and diagnostic advancements in cardiology, aiming to provide the highest quality care for his patients.
